DIY Ten Pin Bowling for Children

Age group: School Readiness (3-5 years old)

Ten pin bowling isn't just fun for adults - it's a play-based educational experience for children too!

In this activity, children can hone in on their fine motor skills while setting up, and improve their hand eye coordination during the bowl. Counting and basic physics principles can be introduced too by counting the pins knocked over, and explaining how the ball rolls faster or slower and knocks down pins with the force they use.

Watch our short at-home bowling in action below. We used toilet rolls numbered up to 7 for our activity.
