DIY Hammer and Peg Board

Peg Boards are often used in learning or rehabilitation for fine motor function and concentration, and the benefits are no different for toddlers.

Create your own Hammer and Peg Board, or use your own at home, to encourage hand-eye coordination, spatial awareness and early mathematical concepts with your child. Math doesn't always need to be on paper - it can in the form of identifying patterns and counting.

Click on the program below to open a downloadable how-to guide to build your own Hammer and Peg Board and try this activity at home.
