Science Experiment - Floating Rocks

Have you ever seen rocks float? In this experiment you will! Children will get to explore weight, volume, capacity and amount in this fun experiment.

Your child will be able to create a boat from aluminium foil, which will then be used to carry rocks floating on top of water.

How many rocks will the boat hold before it sinks? Have your child make some predictions, and do the counting to add the rocks to the boat.
