Letter Matching with an Archaeological Twist

This is a great activity to get your child identifying specific letters of the alphabet, while also learning about archaeological excavation methods!

Involving cut out letters and sand at home, your child will be able to go through the discovery process of uncovered buried letters - just like archaeologists do to find ancient ruins.

You can talk your child through the process of uncovering buried items with a brush, just like they are doing to find the matching letters.
