This month we welcome many children and families to our Centres for the first time. We also welcome back the many thousands of children who will be transitioning into new rooms, and are part of our Affinity Education family.
As we begin 2024, we would like to share with you more information about our Lifelong Learning Curriculum, which is the cornerstone of how we work here at Affinity Education.
Our dedicated educators and teachers are trained in our specialised educational programs in each age group. For the first time this year, we will also provide external credentials to our educators and teachers alongside their Lifelong Learning Curriculum training, which is unique to Affinity Education Group.
Our Lifelong Learning Curriculum is Australia’s most progressive Curriculum designed for children from babies through to 5-year-olds. Our Curriculum has been developed over several years using research, evidence-informed practice and collaboration with educational experts. Our Curriculum allows us to provide educational programs to all age groups that we know make a difference to children’s outcomes.
Specialised Education for Each Age Group
Our Curriculum has been designed in three discreet age groups: our Healthy Beginnings program for our babies, our Early Experiences program for our Toddlers and our 2-year School Readiness program for children 3-5 (that includes government-approved kindergarten and preschool programs). In each age group, we focus on what children learn, how they learn and their learning environments where the action takes place.
School Readiness Programs
Our School Readiness program also includes unique programs for our children, including our Big Thinkers STEM program, Aussie Wildlife Champions conservation program, Positive Living Skills, Reading Eggs & Math Seeds, and Inquiry-Based Projects. Together with a focus on foundational learning of numeracy and literacy, our School Readiness program is an exciting holistic program that we know helps children explore the world around them and helps build those 21st-century thinking skills so crucial for an effective School Readiness program.
